Stonehenge & Marketing
I was reflecting on the fact that archaeologists say they have found a huge ancient settlement used by the people who built Stonehenge. Apparently the dwellings at Durrington date back to 2,600-2,500 BC, the same period that Stonehenge was built.
The thing is, archaeologists from around the world have been looking at Stonehenge and the surrounding areas for hundreds of years; trying to work out how, why and what purpose the Neolithic remains served. And after all that time, this. Inspirational. Even for marketers.
Like archaeologists, marketers have to keep looking at their offerings (even a high tech product or service) to discover new elements or missing links that bring new meaning or relevance to a market.
