No accounting for taste

There is no accounting for taste“, as the saying goes. So true.

To my point Wired’s photo editors have chosen their 10 favourite images from 2007 - and in their words, ‘not because they’re the best - they just like them’.

Phew! For a minute I thought I would have to whinge, complain, and make an objection.

The images may be iconic; haunting or stark; with irony and juxtaposition. But the truth is they are not very good. Not that good at all imho.  You see I easily confuse ‘favourite‘ with ‘best‘.

Am I missing something, or is their no accounting for taste?

Edit: Alas these aren’t that much better, although these are worth a peak.
