Chris,
You are so right. I've been on both sides. Seems like it is part of our DNA. Anything on good creative critics?

I have long since abandoned the search for the holy grail of marketing definitions, and have developed a practical one that I can remember and use effectively: Marketing is letting the customer tell you what and how to sell.

Or, how about this one...

Client: I like idea #3.

Creative: You can't. It's hideous. I only presented it because you wanted to see 5 options.

Thank you for the hint. I found it very interesting. I’ve been looking for a good resizing tool. Rsizr is good, but not as easy as I thought it would be. I found an easier interface at Reshade. Their tool is great and very, and I underline very, easy to use. The quality that you get is, from my point of view, at least equal, if not better that the other tools.

Late reply, I know - but yeah Bruno, that was good! Very interesting! I've always *really* hated stock photos but never thought about why... such good points!

(Also, damn hilarious maddox post too)

Do let me know how you get on with Blurb.

Apparently I can expect my book in 7-10 days. Now whether that includes international shipments only time will tell :-)

Can't wait!

I expect that I will create many more using blurb for commercial purposes (not for resale but for portfolio showcasing) if I am happy with the production quality.
